Our vision is to stengthen our community by developing and delivering increased opportunities to both individuals and groups.
Our Purpose
We work hard in developing and increasing the number of Partnerships and collaborations with other organisations who provide support to our community. Co-located working with multi-disciplinary teams has proved to be very successful at Dracaena and the feedback from Partners, local authority, delivery staff and visitors again suggests that we are right to focus our attention in this area. Community health and healthy living underpins the Dracaena model and we continue to invest our efforts in expanding this support and education.
Community education and training opportunity is set to increase as we develop our relationships with a range of providers from the voluntary, statutory and private sector.
Sport and recreation opportunities for all ages and abilities will grow within our sports development plans. Our association with The Cornwall Sports Partnership, Volunteer Cornwall and Penryn College will only add to the opportunities and enhance the programmes.
Creative and performing arts are proving to be popular and we would like to offer more opportunities for community involvement.
