“Discovering the Dracaena Centre has been a revelation for me as the Community Network Manager for this area. The co-location of such complimentary agencies on one site, supplemented by drop-in sessions from other support bodies makes perfect sense. Partners gravitate to the Centre because of the energy, experience and enthusiasm and as a result things happen.

The combination of space and staff using the site means individuals can get advice on difficult issues in one place with no stigma and so barriers to accessing such services such as travel are removed.

This is one of the best examples of how Partners can, and do, work together maximising resource use for the good of the entire community. This way of working will be a necessity it we are collectively going to succeed with the delivery of services to our communities.”
